Solar4STEM and Food Truck

Solar4STEM partner, Energy Alabama, featured their new Solar4STEM 200 unit along with the Clean Energy Solar Panels used to power the Food Trucks.  Some of the trucks have Solar Panels on the roof of the Trucks while others are powered using the portable solar panels you see pictured above.  Many incredible applications for Portable Solar Energy!  More photographs to come…………………

Solar4STEM at Inspiring MWBE Trade Fair

The Office of Business Opportunity (OBO) hosts an annual MWBE/LDB/VBE Trade Fair each year.

This annual event offers a forum for attendees to meet and network with contractors and other firms that are bidding on and/or working on O.C.P.S. projects. Local minority business support organizations, such as the African American and Asian Chambers, Black Business Investment (BBIF), Hispanic Business Initiative Fund (HBIF) and the Central/North Florida Minority Supplier Development Council (FMSDC) are also exhibitors at the event, providing current information about their programs and services provided to support minority and small businesses.

During the event, mini workshops are made available to the attendees on various subjects to provide practical information to enable vendors to do business with the district.
